Bet Blockera solution that offers assistance to problem gamblers in their own language, has expanded to the African market with the addition of three more languages (Bemba, Nyanja and Tonga) with the aim of helping consumers in Zambia.
BetBlocker continues to expand RG efforts by offering targeted solutions
BetBlocker is driven by the unwavering belief that to achieve the best results and help as many people as possible, the services it provides must be provided to people in their own language.
BetBlocker recently offered translation support to Eastern Europeans in the UK, recognizing that many people who need help are not fully fluent in English and that it would otherwise be helpful to offer support in the person’s native language.
BetBlocker has now taken this guiding principle a step further by launching a service in the aforementioned language, which They make up 75% of Zambia’s population. Zambia is a country with a population of 21 million people.
BetBlocker founder Duncan Garvey welcomed this important new step and praised the introduction of the app into indigenous languages. In his statement, Garvey said:
“It is essential for BetBlocker to be able to communicate with users in a language they are comfortable with to ensure a quick and smooth setup process. Native languages also help us overcome cultural barriers, showing that BetBlocker is not only accessible to these communities, but actively works to support them.
This is especially important in underserved and under-supported markets, such as many African countries. The sad truth is that for many African citizens the support services that exist in more established jurisdictions simply do not exist. In my opinion, it is doubly important to ensure accessibility and easy access to BetBlocker.”
BetBlocker is rapidly expanding into multiple native languages to expand support.
The company has also introduced other variants, including the upcoming Catalan version, which will be presented at ICE in Barcelona. BetBlocker has teamed up with EveryMatrix and Responsible Gaming Foundation to create a Maltese version.
Last but not least, Clarion Gaming has chosen BetBlocker as the official charity partner for ICE, iGBA and iGB Live. Last year, BetBlocker and Casino Guru announced a partnership aimed at improving player protection.
